CASA volunteers needed to advocate for children in foster care in Coos and Curry Counties.
Children in foster care experience trauma from neglect and abuse and need a consistent adult in their lives who will advocate for their needs until they are returned to a safe home.
Court Appointed Special Advocates, CASAS, advocate for the best interests of children in foster care. CASAs are an essential part of the team who help to make sure a child’s needs are met and they have a safe and permanent home.
CASA volunteers receive all the training and support needed to make a difference in a child’s life. CASA of Coos and Curry Counties needs folks, like you, to step up. Our CASA team is waiting for more volunteers to help the 70 children on our waitlist.
CASAs spend an average of just 10 hours a month and make a world of difference in a child’s life! It’s such a small time commitment that makes a big difference in a child’s life.
