2019 Halloween and Harvest Events

Enjoy several Halloween Events in and around Coos County. 

October 2nd through 31st

12:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Escape Room presented by The Refuge Church at Pony Village Mall across from Sears Each Escape Experience is 45 minutes, plan for one hour. Includes a Commemorative Photo from our photo booth. $20 per person (4 person minimum) $100 for groups of 5-8 persons. All October by Appointment Only! 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Mahaffy Ranch Pumpkin Patch. Open Daily visit the Mahaffy Ranch. For more information visit http://mahaffyranch.com – MAP

October 18th

4:00 PM to 7:00 PM – Old Town Reedsport Wine Walk. Adults 21 and over can enjoy complimentary wine tasting. Glasses and maps of participating businesses will be provided to the first 250 adults starting at Fraternal Order of the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. – MAP

6:30 PM to 10:00 PM – October 18 and 19 – Dead Men Tell No Tells Haunted House presented by the Marshfield Drama Department. $10 per person. In the Marshfield Drama Lab. – MAP

4:00 PM to 7:00 PM – Old Town Reedsport Trick or Treat. Children of all ages are encouraged to trick-or-treat for free at participating businesses. Bags will be provided to the first 250 children. Costumes are welcome but not required. – MAP

5:00 PM to 12:00 AM– Coquille Valley Elks Lodge #1935 – First Halloween Horror Movie Marathon at the Elks, it will be the cult classic Halloween of course. It will be in their lodge room on a giant projector screen. There will be a 15$ door charge. They will have snacks in place of our regular Friday dinner, like pizza, salad, chips and dip and popcorn balls and more. All proceeds will be split between childhood cancer research and our children’s eye clinic. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. And kids are half price. Costumes welcome. – MAP

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM – October Sip and Stroll – This event starts at Engles Furniture for $10 per glass. Grab a map and make your way down Sherman and surrounding areas to enjoy wine and food! The proceeds of this event will benefit Bryans Home! – MAP

7:00 PM – Hocus Pocus movie at the Egyptian Theatre. Enjoy the movie Hocus Pocus on the big screen for $5 dollars. – MAP

October 18th & 19th, 25th & 26th and 31st 

6:30 PM to 10:30 PM – Coos Bay Speedway – Can you make it through the woods of terror? The Coos Bay Speedway is hosting this haunted maze for two weekends out at the speedway. General Admission is $12 dollars. For more information visit coosbayspeedway.us or give them a call 541-269-2474. – MAP

October 25th through 31st 

6:00 PM to 10:00 PM -North Bend Police Officers Association Haunted House! Located in the Old Athletic Club at Pony Village Mall. – MAP

6:00 PM to 9:00 PM – Freak Show Haunted Maze in Florence Recently tied for “Best Haunt in Oregon 2018” by Oregon Haunted Houses, C.R.O.W.’s 5th annual Scare-C.R.O.W. Haunted Maze, entitled “Freak Show” will be held 5 nights- October 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th, & 31st. – MAP

Evenings – Haunted Basement at the old Barrow’s Building next to Denny’s to be held October 25th & 26th 7:00 to 9:00 PM, 27th 5:00 to 7:00 PM, 30th, 31st 7:00 to 9:00 PM. $5.00 per person. NOT recommended for children under 10. We have a play area for small children so parents can enjoy the experience in the basement. Proceeds benefit the CREATE youth center and various organizations who volunteer. – MAP

October 26th

2:00 PM and 7:00 PM – Hocus Pocus the movie at the Egyptian Theatre. Enjoy the movie Hocus Pocus on the big screen for $5 dollars. – MAP

October 31st

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Downtown Trick or Treat – Visit businesses in Downtown Coos Bay displaying an Orange poster with a pumpkin for Coos Bay’s annual Safe Trick or Treat. www.coosbaydowntown.org – MAP

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Trunk or Treat Downtown Coos Bay – On 4th street across from Outdoor In. Local businesses “dress up” their cars and line up for handing out candy. – MAP

4:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Not-So-Scary Reading at Winter River Books – The time has come again for Our Annual not-so-scary Halloween Book reading for kids 3+. Free gift for the kids. Also great for the parents to attend. Dress in costume for the event and trick-or-treat at all the participating merchants in Old Town Bandon afterward! – MAP

5:00 PM – Coquille Valley Elks Lodge #1935 – Join them for their first haunted lodge #1935. The event is free to kids and $5 for adults. Included is 1 cupcake walk ticket and 1 zombie juice ticket. We will have a costume contest and monster mash dance competition at 6 pm. All net proceeds will be split between our chosen charity Childhood cancer research/& The Elks children’s eye clinic. – MAP

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM – Madison Elementary School Halloween Carnival. All free events. – MAP

5:00 PM to 8:00 PM – Mall-O-Ween – Calling all ghosts, goblins, and just plain cute… The Pony Village Mall presents a Night So Fun it’s Scary! Trick-or-Treat with us in a safe, dry, environment. Costume Contest for kids ages 0 to 12 years, Live Music by “The Buzz Krill”, a Bus Full of Candy, games, and more. – MAP

5:30 PM to 7:30 PM – Charleston Fishing Families and The Charleston Firefighters Association bring you the 2nd annual trunk or treating event in the marina right in the heart of Charleston. This event is free and very family-friendly! – MAP 

5:30 PM to 7:30 PM – Charleston Marine Life Center – This Halloween, join us for their second annual Night at the Aquarium. This is a free family event (donations are appreciated). Come in costume as there will be costume parades and a photo booth, ocean-themed crafts, spooky decor and more. – MAP

5:30 PM to 8:00 PM – Coquille Church of the Nazarene Harvest Party – Enjoy free family fun with 13 game booths, cupcake walk and lots of candy. There will also be Hot dogs and other great food. – MAP

6:00 to 9:00 PM – Join Discover Lakeside Oregon for the Lakeside Trunk or Treat. It will be located in the McKay’s Parking Lot from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. – MAP

7:00 PM to 12:00 AM Coquille Valley Elks Lodge #1935 Halloween Party – This is a 21 and over event with a $20 door charge, snack bar included, Timberwolf the band, costume contest, dance competition, #1 scream queen, prizes games and absolutely no scary clowns. Upsetting the bartender is a sobering experience. All net proceeds will benefit the Children’s Elk Eye Clinic and Childhood Cancer Research. Come have a great time for a good cause. – MAP

7:00 PM to 8:00 PM – Reedsport Church of God, all kids and their families are invited to our annual Trunk ‘n’ Treat on 22nd Street from 7 to 8 on Halloween night. We’ll block off the street, line up our vehicles, and pass out candy in one safe, fun city block. – MAP

9:00 PM to 3 AM – Sky Bar Halloween Night Karaoke – Anyone 21 and over can come. Visit them on Facebook for more information. – MAP

November 1st

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Above Dental Candy Buy Back – Above Dental will buy back your candy $1 per pound of candy brought back. The candy will be sent to our troops from Operation Gratitude. The kid with the most candy will win $125 dollars and $125 to a charity of their choice. There will also be two runners up who will win $50 dollars each. – MAP

3:00 to 5:00 PM – Waterfall Community Health Center Candy Buy Back – They will pay kids $1.50 per pound for any and all wrapped candy and they will receive a special Halloween Toothbrush. The collected candy will be sent to US troops overseas for a taste of home. – MAP 

November 2nd

5:00 PM – 11:30 PM – North Bend Lanes Halloween Cosmic Bowl Bash – Have a ghoulish good time with your friends at North Bend Lanes and the Back Alley Pub & Grill on Saturday, November 2 from 5-6:30, 7-9 and 9:30-11:30 PM. Food and Drink Specials throughout the night! Prizes for Best Costume each session! Live music from The Songbyrds 6-9 PM.  www.northbendlanes.com  – MAP
