9:00 PM – Halloween Costume Contest at Spotlight Bar – On Friday we will be having our costume contest, more people dressed up bigger the bigger the cash prize! There will also be 2nd and 3rd prize winners! Come dressed in your Halloween costume and win a prize, have a drink, dance your booty off and play a few games a Pool!


October 28th

6:00 PM to 9:00 PM – Haunted House – The Lakeside Fire Station is putting on their annual Haunted House in the Fire Station. Come enjoy this free event which includes a BBQ, Costume Contest for children up to 12 years of age. Donations will be appreciated. For more information call 541-759-3931

7:00 PM to 8:00 PM – Zombie Dash – South Western Oregon Community College Will host a run/walk. Donations of $10.00. All ages welcome. The event will include Halloween games like apple bobbing, cake walk, pumpkin bowling, music and a bake sale. For more information call 541-888-7494

7:00 PM to 9:00 PM – CONNECT! the Boardwalks and 7 Devils Brewing Company present: Beer & Movie Night – HALLOWEEN BASH. A fundraiser for the Health and Science Technology building at Southwestern Oregon Community College. $5.00 admission to this 21 and over event. Costumes are not required.

7:00 PM to 2:00 AM – Halloween Bash at Sharkbites – This is the BIGGEST Halloween party on Southern Oregon! Performances, Side Shows, Dancing, etc…. all rolled into one! Our costume contest, over the top performers, and diverse crowd will keep you on your feet all night long. We have 5 Rooms and 3 Bars for you to all enjoy! Featuring performers from both Portland and Seattle, along with DJ Rico (Los Angeles/Eugene). 2:00 PM to 4:00 – 2nd Annual Children’s Halloween Film Festival – United Way’s 2nd Annual “Live United” Children’s at the Egyptian Theatre. The Addams Family will be playing on the big screen. The event is free for all ages. There will be a children’s parade and door prizes! Costumes are encouraged. All donations will go to the United Way’s Coats and Shoes for kid’s project. HALLOWEEN – October 31st

7:00 AM to 1:45 PM – Top Dog Halloween Costume Contest – The 1st Annual Top Dog Costume Contest!! There will be four age groups. Ages 5 and under, 6-12, 13-17, and 18+! Winners will be announced on our Top Dog page November 1st. If you’re chosen for having the best costume in your group, you’ll win $20 in Coffee Cash! Costumes must be appropriate. 11:30 AM to 12:30 – North Bend Senior Center – Come join the North Bend Senior Center for their Halloween party and BBQ! Don’t forget to wear your costume!

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Downtown Trick or Treat – Visit businesses in Downtown Coos Bay displaying an Orange poster with a pumpkin for Coos Bay’s annual Safe Trick or Treat. www.coosbaydowntown.org

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Trunk or Treat Downtown Coos Bay – On 4th street across from Outdoor In. Local businesses “dress up” their cars and line up for handing out candy. Come enjoy the sights and sounds of the K-DOCK Monster Mash Dance Party!

4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Bay Crest Village – 2nd annual Trunk or Treat. Gather your boos and Ghouls. The event is free to families in the Baycrest driveway.

4:00 PM to 6:00 PM– Bay Crest Memory Care – Masquerade Ball – Come join Baycrest for some great music, dancing, food and mocktails. Bring the kids for trick or treating, a costume contest and games for the whole family.

4:30 PM to 6:30 PM – Bay Area Church of the Nazarene – Community Fall Festival, Carnival games, food and candy. Children must be with an adult in the Snoddy’s Gym.

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM – Madison Elementary School Halloween Carnival. All free events.

5:00 PM to 8:00 PM – Malloween – Pony Village Mall opens their doors for children to have a safe Halloween in North Bend. Pumpkin Carving, Costume Contest and a bus full of candy.

6:00 PM to 8:00 PM – Charleston Firefighters Association & Charleston Fishing Families host their inaugural Trunk or Treat in the Charleston Marina Parking Lot. This is a safe event for families to come trick or treat in the Charleston area. For more information contact Jackie at 541-404-5934

7:00 PM to 8:00 PM – Reedsport Church of God, 13th annual Trunk ‘N’ Treat. The Trunk ‘N’ Treat is a safe, well-lit area event for the whole community.
